ABOUT US

TEST PREP & TUTORING SINCE 2001

Founded by two Americans living in Hong Kong in 2001, AmericaPrep is the industry leader in successfully preparing students for U.S. standardized tests. We have the most experienced and respected instructors who know the tests intimately. Our teaching manuals are also written by our instructors.

At AmericaPrep, we only focus on tests required by U.S. schools and universities for admissions: SCAT, TOEFL iBT, SSAT/ISEE, SAT/ACT, SAT II Subjects Tests, LSAT, GRE, and GMAT. Due to our narrow focus on these areas, we can better  access our students' weaknesses to increase our students' scores.

We keep our class sizes small to enhance the learning environment and experience. Our instructors are able to adjust the speed of the courses by making sure that all students understand the strategies and techniques at hand before moving onto the next topic. Small class sizes ensure each student will not feel neglected or overlooked.

OUR SERVICES

PERSONALIZED ATTENTION WITH THE MOST DEDICATED TEAM

Our pricing is reflected in the years of experience our instructors have: no less than 20 years of teaching U.S. standardized tests. The hidden secrets and intricacies of the tests have been exposed and solved by these dedicated instructors. They have dedicated their careers on making sure students can maximize their potentials.

BOOK YOUR SESSION

Our 1:1 private sessions are specifically and carefully designed to cater students' needs. The benefits of having 1:1 private sessions are numerous: personalized lessons, undivided attention, and appropriate speed. The cost is a little pricier than group lessons, but the benefits are enormous.

We keep our groups small, 3 to 4 on average with a maximum of seven students. The key to effective training is to keep class sizes small, with better focus on each student. Another benefit to small class sizes is students learn better in a more intimate setting. The overall cost per lesson is less than that of 1:1 lessons,  but the strategies and techniques covered is exactly the same.

Whether you decide to choose 1:1 private tutoring or small class sizes, both choices will inevitably increase your child's scores, and thus, increase his or her chances to get into the school of his or her choice.

WHICH TEST DO YOU NEED?

AmericaPrep gets students into top schools in the U.S. by helping them prepare for standardised admission tests. We have tutored thousands of Hong Kong students, with a high percentage of them having been accepted by Ivy League and other highly selective schools and universities.
